Our Christmas Concert New Myrnam School was filled with families, friends and community on Tuesday night, Dec 19th. This was an evening of awesomeness as our elementary students took to the stage for our annual Christmas Concert. On the Eleventh Day of Christmas...
Look at all of the awesome Ugly Christmas Sweaters!!!! The school was FULL of them today! This was our Eleventh Day of Christmas activities. You could find many store bought sweaters, hand painted sweaters and hand decorated ones too! This is always a fun day in the spirit of Christmas!

On the Tenth Day of Christmas...
December 20th was our Tenth Day of Christmas activities! Today students and staff were taking part in the Reindeer Games! This was played like musical chairs, with a twist! As the music played, participants moved around the gym, but when it stopped.... well, it was a scramble to get into position! Some of the positions were pretty tricky to hold steady which made the total number of teams dwindle quickly to the final winning teams. "Santa's Toy Bag" meant holding your team

On the Ninth Day of Christmas...
Throughout the day, not a student was stirring... ONLY because they were all listening very carefully for the pictures called out in hopes to win at the game of Christmas Bingo! Five to seven randomly selected pictures were called out at each break. Classrooms marked their Christmas bingo cards for chances to win any of the 4 games played! On the Eighth Day of Christmas...
Holiday Hats Galore!!! It's time to don your favourite Holiday Hat! Throughout the school there were reds, greens, golds and silvers, tinsel and garland, antlers and spirals, lightbulbs, beads and ornaments and so much more! What a day it was!

On the Sixth & Seventh Day of Christmas...
Christmas Candy Grams!!! Students Union member, Hannah Saruk, had her hands full with the Sixth Day of Christmas activity. She and her team sold Candy Grams to students, staff, parents and grandparents! Can you guess how many Candy Grams were sold? LOTS!!! 618 to be exact… in one day! Can You Answer the Christmas Riddles? For this event, the classroom representatives had to put on their thinking caps and have their dialing fingers ready! This time, there was only one number to call, so fast fingers was an asset! The Sounds of the Season presents: Guess That Christmas Carol!!! The classrooms were silent with anticipation as the carols were played over the intercom. Students then scrambled to dial the correct office phone number with hopes of the winning answer! There were phones ringing everywhere!!! On the Third Day of Christmas...
This morning our amazing Students Union greeted their fellow students and our staff with a special treat, a steaming cup of hot chocolate topped with a mountain of mini-marshmallows! Mmmmmmmm! What a way to start off a day! Thank you everyone!
