As per Premier Kenney’s announcement this afternoon, the Government of Alberta has announced that September 19, 2022 will be a provincial day of mourning. Schools will remain open and flags will be lowered to half mast. Schools and individual teachers may engage in other age appropriate acts of commemoration.

This morning the grade 7 and 8 Humanities class tried their hand at archeology as they deciphered various artefacts in order to determine information about the person who they belong(ed) to.
