Summer Reading Program!

This summer the Myrnam Community Library will be hosting some events as well as participating in the TD Summer Reading Program. Please note the date changes from original letter sent out.

I have been blessed to have a summer work experience student working with me this year. Her name is Morgan. She is currently a grade 11 student at New Myrnam School. Her focus will be on running the summer program. This program will include reading, crafts, games, and other fun activities. It will run on Wednesdays from 2:15 - 4:15 pm. With the exception of August 3rd which is a Thursday. She will be looking after the garden boxes and tower garden at the school this summer so she will also be running a gardening program on Wednesdays from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm.

I will be showing movies Tuesday afternoons starting at 2:00 pm.

Any other hours the library is open, your family is welcome to stop in for books, play a board game, go on the computers, or use any of the other resourses we have. My hopes is that the Myrnam Community Library becomes the center of activity in Myrnam this summer!

There is no cost for these activities. Just drop on by for some fun!
