Over the last few weeks construction crews have been hard at work at New Myrnam School as construction has begun on the Village of Myrnam's new Construction Trades Education Centre. Once complete, this facility will offer many more options to the students of New Myrnam School. This new building will have the space and tools for students to complete large scale construction projects. In addition, students will be offered new option classes thanks to the new tools that the CTEC facility will be stocked with, including 3D design and printing, CNC Routing, welding and green energy and sustainable energy development. This is a fantastic project which was made possible because of the forward thinking and partnership between the Village of Myrnam and the St. Paul Education Regional Division.
The shop is expected to be completed in mid-December of this year, which would mean that students of New Myrnam School would have access to it in the second semester of this school year! It is definitely an exciting time to be a student in New Myrnam School!
