Remembrance Day Thank you

We would like to give a huge thank you to all of our special guests for coming out and participating in our Remembrance Day Ceremony. Also thank you to all the parents and community members who made the effort to come out and take part. It was a wonderful sobering event in honor and remembrance of those who have served and are presently serving our country. We had some student involvement in the ceremony. The grade 2 class did a presentation on "My Poppy", Lukas Dubelt read the poem "Why Wear a Poppy?" and Grace Crundwell shared a wonderful story she wrote. There was amazing art work from students displayed on the gym walls and stage. The ceremony was ended by the wreath laying and the singing of our National Athem. Anyone who choose to lay their poppy by the cenotaph was welcomed to do so.
