Deadline to Switch Between At-Home and In-School Learning

Throughout the year, our school division has been flexible in responding to families’ choices to move between in-person and at-home learning. As of April 6, 2021 (after spring break), families will be required to stay with their choice of either at-home or in-person learning.
If you are considering changing from the method of instruction (at-home or in-person learning) your child is currently enrolled in, please contact your school principal prior to spring break. If you do not contact your school principal, your child will remain in their current learning method until the end of this school year.
We understand this is a difficult decision for many families, but we believe minimizing changes will allow students and teachers to stay fully focused on learning, with limited disruptions, for the last three months of the year.
In extenuating circumstances related to COVID-19, families may still be afforded some flexibility. After April 6, 2021, please contact your school principal should you have to change between at-home and in-person learning.
Thank you for your cooperation.
