Live Streaming of School Sporting Events

As part of our 2021-2022 Return to School Plan, spectators are not allowed at indoor sporting events. However, in an effort for parents and guardians to be able to watch their children participate in athletics, some schools will be live streaming certain sporting events.

As per the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIP), after-school athletics are considered public events and parent consent is not required to live stream. Should you have any questions in this regard, please contact your school administration.

Please be aware that not all schools will be streaming their games, as it is contingent upon individual schools having the equipment, manpower and expertise to undertake this task.
