Fall Festival
On October 31, 2023, our school will be celebrating our Fall Festival. This is an inclusive day where students across grades get together to play fun games and celebrate the time of year. For Kindergarten to Grade 6 students, they are encouraged to wear regular clothing in the morning to school. At noon, there will be an opportunity for those who brought costumes to put them on. (Costumes are optional.) Parents are welcome to come to the school in the afternoon to assist with any makeup they wish to apply to their child's face for their costume. The schedule for the day is as follows:
- 8:40-11:20- regular scheduled classes
- 11:20-11:40 lunch
- 11:40- 12:00 lunch recess
- 12:00- get changed into costumes
- 12:20 p.m. - K-6 will walk down to Eagleview Lodge to do a costume parade and return by 1:00 p.m. Students will be walking outside. Please ensure your child has appropriate outdoor clothing to walk there.
- 1:00 - 2:00- K-6 students complete games run by grade 7-9 students in the gym (fall-themed games)
- 2:00 p.m. K-6 will have recess
- 2:30 - 3:15 p.m., K-6 classes will be playing Bingo in their classrooms with Mrs. Eriksen via Google Meet!
**For those interested, the Village of Myrnam’s trick or treat hours are from 3:30-6:30.
