First Day of School

Welcome to the 2025 - 2026 school year! Teachers and support staff were hard at work last week getting classrooms set up and participating in professional development together to ensure a stellar start to the school year for all students. 

Tomorrow, September 2, 2025 is the first day of school for all students from kindergarten to grade 12. Bell times can be found on our website here. 

Students will start their day with their homeroom teachers: kindergarten - Mrs. Jamie Bachelet, grade 1/2 - Mrs. Vanessa Godziuk, grade 3/4 - Ms. Jodine Benning, grade 5/6 - Mrs. Lori Wagner, grade 7 - Mrs. Moriah Ostropolski, grade 8 - Ms. Leslee Morrison, grade 9 - Mrs. Danielle Eriksen, grade 10 - Ms. Britney Urichuk, grade 11 - Mr. Cody Riley, grade 12 - Mr. Joshua Lee. High school students will discuss schedules with their homeroom teachers. Changes after September 2 continue to go through the homeroom teacher. Students in work experience, Green Certificate, or RAP will connect with Mr. Yakiwchuk after discussing their plans with the homeroom teacher. Regular schedules will start at first recess. 

The office, foyer, staff room, and concession were upgraded over the summer. Thank you to our custodians Mr. Kim Clyke and Ms. Kelly Hitchcox and the St. Paul Education maintenance team who made sure the changes and clean up were all completed before September 2. Due to the late finish on the concession, however, there will be no concession items for purchase for the first couple of weeks of September. Come in and have a look at the changes!
